Автор блога Absolute Powerpop представил свой пятый по счету ежегодный рейтинг лучших power-pop альбомов (The Absolute Powerpop Top 100 of 2010). Как признается преданный ценитель стиля power-pop, он переслушал сотню превосходных дисков, а его ITunes-библиотека насчитывает где-то 38 тысяч треков. Причем, 95 процентов этих треков появилось в его коллекции за пять лет.

Что касается первой позиции в этом рейтинге, то, как пишет блоггер, его выбор, вероятно, будет неожиданным для многих (несмотря даже на то, что группу The Autumn Defense не плохо знают, ведь в ней играют двое музыкантов из группы Wilco). И сам составитель рейтинга не ожидал, что отдаст предпочтение именно The Autumn Defense и их альбому Once Around. Однако, в итоге, аргументов в пользу этих музыкантов нашлось немало.
